Information on the Artist

Born in 1949 in Zaporozhie, Ukraine; Studied at Kiev Republican Special Art College;
Graduated from Kiev State Art Institute in 1974;
Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine and the USSR;
Awarded First Prizes in painting at the Republican Exhibitions of Ukrainian Artists and at the National Exhibition "The Best Portrait for the Last 5 Years";
In 1982 - awarded the Title of Laureate of State Award named after Nikolai. Ostrovsky;
Since 1970 the artist took part in numerous National Exhibitions in the USSR and Ukraine.
In England he exhibited his works at the Alberty Gallery, Anna-Mei Chadwick Gallery, the Omell Galleries, Roy Miles Gallery, New Grafton Gallery, W. Patterson Gallery.
Works in the genre of portrait, historical painting, still life and landscape;
Works are included in the national Ukrainian Art Museum, The Russian Ministry of Culture Collection, The State Art Collection of the Moscow Art Academy, British Embassy in Kiev, Private Collections in Europe, the USA, Canada.
Currently lives and works in the UK.
