It has been seven years since we first started showing Russian paintings in London. Those were dynamic and productive years. We have had our ups and downs along the way, but on the whole have performed very soundly in these harsh times – with gallery exhibitions changing every 5 –6 weeks, and regularly participating in major London Art Fairs. The last Chelsea Fine Art Fair in April in particular showed the strength of our collection with a lot of media and public interest in our work (an article in The Times Sat 25 April 04 about the gallery, an editorial in World of Interiors, Antique Trade Gazette, etc + quite a few sizeable sales at the Fair and after). Although we have managed to have staged so many exhibitions + Private Events at the gallery, we feel that we have outgrown the limited space we are in at present. The end of our lease has come and we feel that we would not want to commit ourselves to such an insufficient space for the years ahead. The time has come to reconsider our strategy and look for a bigger gallery where we could carry out our plans for the future with more ambitious artistic projects. From September 2004 on we are also planning to concentrate more on London Fine Art Fairs. We will keep in close contacts with all our artists and will continue showing their paintings at the Art Fairs and on our web site, and also by prior appointment.
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" The site is specifically designed for showing our extensive collection of RUSSIAN contemporary paintings and the DOGS IN ART exhibition which we regularly update.
